Insurance

I am an in-network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC.  I am also an EAN provider and can accept Healthscope (Mission Hospital Employee Insurance).

If you would like to file through your insurance company, it is important to know what your ‘outpatient mental health benefits’ are within your plan.  The following are some important questions to get answered before our first session:

  • Are mental health benefits included in my plan?
  • Do I have a deductible that needs to be met before services are covered?  If yes, how much of my deductible has been met?
  • Do I have a co-pay or co-insurance amount for mental health outpatient visits?
  • Do I need pre-authorization to begin therapy services?

If you need help finding the answers to these questions, I’d be happy to help.

Private Pay

If you would prefer to pay for services privately, my regular session fee for the standard 53 minutes is $125.  The first appointment and initial evaluation is $150.

Cancellation Policy

Please understand that my scheduled slots are valuable to my clients.  If you are unable to make your scheduled appointment time, letting me know as soon as possible will allow me to fill that open spot.  You will be charged a full session fee for missed appointments or failing to cancel your appointment before 24 hours in advance.  Unfortunately, insurance will not reimburse you for any portion of a missed appointment so you will be responsible for the full fee.
